Louie Desktop brings the power of Louie.AI directly to your desktop environment, providing a native application experience for data analysis and visualization.

Download Louie Desktop#

Get started by downloading Louie Desktop for your operating system:

macOS#

Download Louie Desktop for Mac

System Requirements:

  • macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or later

  • Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel processor

  • 4GB RAM minimum, 8GB recommended

Installation:

  1. Download the .dmg file

  2. Open the downloaded file

  3. Drag Louie Desktop to your Applications folder

  4. Launch from Applications or Spotlight

Linux#

Download Louie Desktop for Linux

System Requirements:

  • Ubuntu 20.04 or later, Fedora 34 or later, or equivalent

  • x64 processor

  • 4GB RAM minimum, 8GB recommended

Installation:

  1. Download the .AppImage or .deb file

  2. Make the file executable: chmod +x Louie-Desktop-*.AppImage

  3. Run the application: ./Louie-Desktop-*.AppImage

For .deb packages:

sudo dpkg -i Louie-Desktop-*.deb
sudo apt-get install -f

Windows#

First Launch#

When you first launch Louie Desktop, you’ll be greeted with a welcome screen that guides you through the initial setup process:

  1. Sign In - Connect to your Louie.AI account

  2. Configure API Keys - Set up your OpenAI API key for AI features

  3. Connect Data Sources - Link to your existing connectors or create new ones
